It's not too late................

It’s not too late to enrol at North Lindsey College. There are still places available on many courses. The College offers a huge range of vocational courses, A Levels, GCSEs and apprenticeships. The University Centre also offers Foundation and full Honours degrees, HNCs and HNDs.

North Lindsey College has celebrated great results over the summer in all areas. At A Level Curtis Snowden (25) achieved A* in Maths and Physics and A in Chemistry. He will be progressing to Manchester University to study Physics. Curtis returned to College in 2011 to do five GCSEs, in which he achieved brilliant results: Maths (A*), Chemistry (A*), Biology (A), Physics (A) and English (C).

There were also great results for those students who combined an A Level with a vocational qualification. Jack Arrand achieved the top grade of triple Distinction* in Level 3 Diploma in Sport as well as an A in A Level Human Biology.  He will progressing to Loughborough University to study Sports.

On his vocational course Daniel Till achieved triple Distinction* in Engineering and is now employed as a CAD technician at ESM Power, where he completed his work experience whilst at College.  He will now be progressing onto an HNC in Engineering at North Lindsey. Daniel said, “I’m definitely pleased with the results and I will be continuing my studies at North Lindsey College and going onto the HNC whilst working at ESM Power as a trainee design engineer.  I would definitely recommend the College to others. The tutors are so helpful, good at what they do and put extra time and effort in to help you get the results you want. The CAD equipment has also been amazing to work with.”

Katie Hearn also gained triple Distinction* in Health and Social Care and will be progressing onto a bio-science degree at the College’s University Centre.  With an overall satisfaction rating of 92% in the National Student Survey for the second year running, the University Centre has the highest rating of any university or college in the region.

For those students preferring to combine work with a qualification, the College offers a great range of apprenticeships. The College has more than 400 apprentices placed with employers across the region and has recently been awarded the Tata Steel contract for the delivery of its apprenticeship scheme.
