College Delivering A Levels!

North Lindsey College takes learning to a new level and is delighted to be offering A Level provision in maths, English, physics, chemistry and biology.

Due to popular demand, Students can now study A Level qualifications at the College, delivered alongside their vocational programmes. Being able to mix and match vocational programmes with A Levels, gives the maximum amount of flexibility and future progression options.

Small class sizes and experienced tutors give students the best start to their future careers onto an apprenticeship or University whilst learning in a professional environment.

Chris Schofield (Careers Guidance Adviser) commented, “This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to be able to study a full A Level alongside their main vocational programme to strengthen their application to University.  This year we have offered AS Levels and now we are able to offer the full qualification enabling students to have a more in-depth grasp of their chosen A Level subject.”

Cameron McFarlane is not only North Lincolnshire’s Young Mayor but is also a student at North Lindsey College.  He is enrolled on a level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering as well as studying alongside an AS in Physics.  Cameron is delighted to be able to study the full A level at North Lindsey College and said: “A levels are vital qualifications that some universities require to supplement level 3 qualifications in the science and engineering industry.

I love being able to expand my knowledge beyond the walls of my engineering qualification.  I will continue to study and succeed with AS and A Level Physics."
