North Lindsey College recognised amongst the best Colleges in the country

A recent report ranks North Lindsey College amongst the best Colleges in the country for achievement of Further Education courses and apprenticeships.

The report compiled by RCU in partnership with the Association of Colleges uses information from the National Achievement Rate Tables and Key Stage 5 Performance Tables to rank Colleges.

The report also demonstrates that students resitting English and maths make substantial progress ranking the college in the top 20% for maths and top 10% for English.

The Colleges Principal, Mick Lochran, was quick to recognise the incredible dedication and commitment that both staff and students demonstrated to achieve these results stating that he was immensely proud to work with such dedicated people.

Steve Hobden (Director of Further Education), "We are delighted and so proud of the progress our students have made on English and maths. As a College we acknowledge the life changing impact improving the English and maths skills has for our students. Therefore, as a College this continues to be a top priority for us. These results are a culmination of a number of initiatives we put in place a couple of years ago to ensure we do everything we can to  help our students develop those skills.

It is so pleasing to see all the hard work and effort our students and staff across the college put in has such a positive outcome.  We are determined to ensure North Lindsey College is the first choice destination for post 16 students and adults who not only want to develop their vocational skills but also improve their English and maths skills.”
