Talk options during National Apprenticeships Week

National Apprenticeships Week takes place this month, as part of a carousel of careers and progression events North Lindsey College are hosting an Apprenticeship Open Event.

The event takes place on Wednesday 7th March, 4pm to 6pm at the Kingsway campus and features employers offering current vacancies, along with the college’s apprenticeship team, who will be available for an informal chat about the apprenticeships on offer and support the application process.

North Lindsey College are the largest provider of apprenticeships in our region, with hundreds of apprentices across a variety of sectors including engineering, construction, accountancy and digital technologies.

The college are running a series of events throughout National Apprenticeship Week, culminating in an awards ceremony on Friday 9th March, which will see former BBC Apprentice winner Joseph Valente deliver a key note speech and to celebrate the successes of local apprentices and their employers.

In the run up to the week a Careers and Progression fair will be held to support students make informed choices about their next steps.

 “We will be welcoming over 30 organisations onto campus on Wednesday 28th February,” says Emma Turner, Marketing Manager. “As the fair takes place the week prior to the week it encourages our students to look at their options and raise their awareness of the national and local activities taking place the following week.”
