University Students Mean Business

Higher Education students at North Lindsey College are due to exhibit their work to the general public.

The event is based in the Events Centre at North Lindsey College, on Monday 21st May, 3.30pm – 6.00pm and will focus on the work of business and management students.  Exhibition topics include leadership, employability, career development, decision making and human resource management.

The under-graduates are proud to be displaying the work they have completed this academic year, Michelle Collinson who is a Fda Business and Human Resource Management student spoke about studying at the University Centre in Scunthorpe "This journey has been life changing, my confidence is growing all the time and I've met some amazing people. Its hard work, but you get out what you put in and the hard works pays off."

Rob Garner, Programme Leader in Business and Management, Higher Education said, “Come along and see our Business and Management Exhibition.  HE students from across business programmes display their work, in Leadership, Economics, Human Resource Management and Project Management.  This is and interactive event with some students dressed up as their most inspiring leader!  A great networking event with a real buzz.  Come and meet the business team too.”

The event is also an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in studying in Higher Education and to speak with present students and hear about their courses and the benefits of studying locally.  Other advice will be on hand including student loans and grants.
