Information for Schools

Information for Schools

An excellent Ofsted Inspection in March 2007 confirmed North Lindsey College to be a good and improving college with many areas of exemplary/outstanding provision. The degree to which learners enjoy college life impressed the inspectors who commented that learners were "motivated and aspirational…learners develop good vocational and personal skills; they leave college equipped with the skills and confidence to succeed in their careers and future life". A copy of the full Ofsted Report is available for download in PDF format.

Open Evenings

At our annual open evening held every October the entire campus is open for school leavers and their parents to look around, talk to tutors, see the facilities and get answers to any questions relating to courses or college life. In addition we hold regular hall based Advice and Enrolment Sessions where prospective learners and their parents will have opportunity to talk to tutors and the guidance team.

Year 10 Tasters

Schools are encouraged to bring their year 10 pupils for a day of hands on activity in College during our ‘taster’ period in July. There are opportunities to participate in two practical sessions in the College’s state of the art facilities.

School Taster Roadshows

North Lindsey College bring a selection of practical activities into the school environment. The event offers the pupils very hands on experience with different activities on show to hold their imagination.
