The Kingsway Children's Centre
The Kingsway Children's Centre
We have a full daycare nursery on campus registered for 90 children from 5 months to 8 years. All staff working in the nursery are fully qualified and has a strong commitment to continued professional development. Qualifications of staff range from level 3 in Childcare Learning and Development to level 6 BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies and Early Years Professional Status.
The Centre has won North Lincolnshire's "Nursery of The Year" award in 2004, 2008 and 2009, which was voted by the children's parents. In 2008 after an OFSTED inspection the nursery was awarded "Good" with some outstanding areas.
The nursery has also achieved Step Three in the Local Authorities "Steps To Quality" programme and has been reassessed at this high level. An extract from the 2008 Step To Quality report states "Throughout there was a warm welcome that made a positive experience borne from the confidence the setting has in their ability to meet quality standards"
After a recent inspection by North Lincolnshire Council's Environmental Services the nursery was awarded the highest rating (5 stars) in the "Scores on the Doors Awards" for food hygiene practices.
Due to the popularity of the Centre, places are taken very quickly - particularly for babies - so we advise you to contact us early if you think you will need our services.
