Disability Equality Scheme
The creation of the College's first Disability Equality Scheme will help us meet our general duty to promote equality. Any comments and feedback relating to the scheme are welcomed.
Website Accessibility
The College is committed to making its resources available to everyone, including those who may have difficulties using mainstream Information Technology. As such, this web site has been designed in accordance with guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium, ensuring general good practice in web design, and also providing compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
Following these guidelines, we use presentation technologies to ensure that our site is accessible not only to people using standard web browsers, but also to those using other user agents, such as large-text or speech browsers.
Website Standards Compliance
This web site has been validated as complying with the XHTML 1.0 and CSS standards.
In many areas of the site we have met the requirements for Triple-A compliance with the Accessibility Guidelines set out by the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative. Across the site as a whole, we claim Level A compliance with the guidelines. If you have any comments on the accessibility of this site, please e-mail the webmaster.
Our statement of compliance explains the measures we have taken to follow the WAI guidelines.
