About the College
North Lindsey College occupies a large 23 acre site in Scunthorpe. Every year we enrol over 12,000 students on our comprehensive range of Further and Higher Education courses. Students at North Lindsey benefit from highly experienced staff, a friendly relaxed atmosphere, a wide range of support services and modern facilities set in attractive grounds.
We are the major provider of post-16 education and training in North Lincolnshire and work with a range of partners to ensure we maximise available opportunities.
The onsite Nursery was judged by Ofsted as 'Outstanding' in 2015. The College also holds many other accolades and awards including multiple Beacon Awards, Investors in People, Customer Service Excellence Award and the Matrix Standard. Internationally the College also has the distinction of being judged as ‘World Class’ for College/School Partnerships and Employer Engagement.
The College is recognised as a Disability Confident Employer and also a Mindful Employer .

Staff are employed in a range of management, teaching and support roles. From September 2012 onwards teaching and management staff will continue to be recruited through North Lindsey College however all support staff vacancies will be recruited through the Optime Support Ltd, a subsidiary company of North Lindsey College.
